The book Moby Dick by Herman Melville is an adventure book, waiting to be read. The genre of this book is Adventure. The main characters are Ishmael, Captain Ahab, Queequeg, and Moby Dick. The setting takes place in the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific oceans, on a ship called the Pequod. I would score this book a 4/5 .

There are many genres of this book called Moby Dick. It is most known for being an adventure but there are more. Like, Adventure; Literary Fiction; Psychological Thriller; Quest; and Tragedy. I know it is an adventure, because in this book it is mostly adventure, and more adventure. It also has a lot of frights, like when the whales attack them or… sorry can’t tell you the rest, you got to read and tell me.

One of my favorite characters is Queequeg. He is my favorite character because he is loving, brave and has kindness inside, even though he looks different from the others, he is amazing on the inside. From the start he pleased me and if he would be a real person I would like to be friends with him. I discovered that friendship can come together in moments when you meet the right person. However it may take many days, months, or years for some people to become true friends.

The setting of the book takes place in Captain Ahab's ship, the Pequod, while sailing in the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific oceans. It takes place in the 1830s, or the 1840s. The author gave a description of Ahab's ship. There is a bow, the front of the ship. The blubber room, that is where they store all of the blubber and oil from the whales that they kill. The ship has the hold, the stern, the quarter deck, the whale boats, and the bulwark.

I would recommend people that like adventure and whale hunting or ship adventures to read this book. I would recommend this book to people who like reading about ships, and adventures on the sea. This book is intense in some moments, and boring in others. I scored 4/5 because in some parts of the book it repeats what it already said in the past. So if I were you I would still read the book, because it is still interesting and full of whale adventures!
