The book I read was The Story of King Arthur and his Knights, by Howard Pyle. The genre of this book is historical fiction. My favorite character in this book would have to be Arthur, mainly because he managed to overcome every challenge. This story started out in Britain. I rated this book 4 stars.
The genre of this book is historical fiction. I know this because there is subtle magic and other stuff in it. There is a magic sword called Excalibur. There is also a wizard named Merlin. There are also magic hats.
My favorite character in this book would have to be Arthur Because he seems to be able to overcome anything in his way. I also like him because he is king. He was also the son of a king. One more reason I like him is because he found a really powerful sword called Excalibur. He's also almost died several times but lived.
The setting of this book is in Britain, it gave me the scenery but not the time. There were a bunch of very descriptive words such as; beautiful, clad, woeful, wretched, and ugly. This doesn't really affect the plot much, and I don't actually know how it would affect it if it did. But anyways the scenery was beautiful by the sound of it. Not only that, but the book was very descriptive.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the lord of the rings. I would recommend it because it has some fantasy aspect to it, and it is medieval. I rated this book 4 stars because it was really bloody and messy. The fantasy aspects are mainly magic and stuff. Also there is no electronics which is why I think it is medieval.
